The third CCF Network Conference (ChinaNet 2025), hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF) and organized by the CCF Internet Committee, the CCF Network and Data Communication Committee, and NEU, was held in Shenyang from September 12th to 14th. This conference, themed with "Intelligent Connectivity Ecosystem, Digital Innovation for the Future" brought together top experts, scholars, industry leaders, and representatives from all sectors of academia, industry, and research. They engaged in in-depth exchanges and intellectual collisions on the cutting-edge innovations, development trends, and challenges of Internet technology and applications, contributing wisdom and strength to the advancement of China's network technology.
The Conference opened on the morning of September 13. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Wang Xingwei, Chairperson of the Conference, Director of the CCF Internet Committee, and Vice President of NEU. Wu Tingbao, Vice Mayor of Shenyang City, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the Shenyang Municipal Government. Wu Tingbao said in his speech that this Conference had provided Shenyang with a valuable opportunity to learn and exchange with top experts, which would greatly stimulate the local innovation vitality and inject new impetus into the revitalization and development of Shenyang and even Northeast China.
Feng Xiating, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of NEU, stated that NEU would establish the confidence and determination to "strive in the new journey and make achievements in the new century", contribute to the high-quality development of Liaoning and Shenyang, do its utmost for the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era, and make new contributions to the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation. As the host institution, NEU highly values this rare learning opportunity. At the new starting point of the new century since the establishment of NEU, we sincerely hope that all the guests present can jointly promote NEU's computer and related disciplines to a new level and make greater contributions to the innovative development of the computer field in our country.
Many internationally renowned scholars from China, the United States, Europe and other places were specially invited to the Conference to deliver keynote speeches, sharing the latest research achievements and unique insights in hot fields such as the integration of intelligent computing, network communication, and the integration of AI and networks. During the three-day conference agenda, there were a variety of keynote speeches, special forums and group discussions, covering all cutting-edge aspects of the network field. More than 1,300 scholars attending the Conference had in-depth exchanges on the latest progress in their respective fields. Fueled by the lively on-site discussion atmosphere, innovative ideas kept emerging.
The holding of the CCF Network Conference not only deepened the exchanges and cooperation among scholars in China and abroad in the field of networks, but also effectively promoted the integrated development of NEU in related disciplines.
