On September 16, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between NEU and AECC Shenyang Engine Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Power Institute") was held in Room 824 of the Main Building. Wang Xiangping, Deputy Director of the Power Institute, Han Fangjun, Wang Jun and Wang Gang, Deputy Chief Designers, Zhang Hao, Deputy Secretary of the NEU Party Committee, and Liu Yanhui, Assistant to the President of NEU, attended the ceremony. Relevant personnel in charge from both sides were also present.
Zhang Hao stated that NEU would take this strategic cooperation as an opportunity, focus on the development needs of the Chinese aviation industry, leverage its own capabilities, and continuously strengthen comprehensive cooperation with the Power Institute in areas such as technological innovation and joint training of master's and doctoral students. NEU would also introduce innovative multi-disciplinary cross-cooperation mechanisms and move forward hand in hand and in the same direction on the new journey of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation.
Wang Xiangping expressed his hope that both sides would give full play to their respective advantages in the future, continuously deepen school-enterprise cooperation in areas such as model technology breakthroughs, innovative cultivation of outstanding engineers, and introduction and cultivation of high-level talents, promote the organic integration of multiple disciplines and specialties, carry out joint research on complex technical problems, fully leverage the talent value of both the university and the institute, and accelerate the development of scientific research models.
