To effectively promote the graduate employment work of our university and effectively ensure the full and high-quality employment of the 2026 graduates, NEU held the 2026 Graduates Fall Two-Way Selection Job Fair at the Liu Changchun Gymnasium and the Badminton & Table Tennis Hall from October 29 to 30. As the most anticipated large-scale recruitment event for our graduates, this Fall Job Fair remains highly popular. It has attracted the active participation of numerous leading organizations from key industries and sectors. A total of 644 employers from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country have come to recruit talent, offering 35,000 high-quality positions to our graduates. Both the number and quality of participating organizations remain consistently high.
NEU places great importance on the pivotal role of this Fall Job Fair in promoting high-quality and full employment for graduates. Prior to the event, a coordination meeting was convened for the job fair, requiring relevant departments and colleges to clearly define responsibilities and diligently fulfill their duties. This includes helping students understand the employment landscape, strengthening targeted career guidance, and effectively facilitating smooth employment for graduates. At the job fair, Guo Hai, Party Secretary of NEU, and Vice President Wang Hui engaged with employers and graduates to understand the alignment of job openings and graduate needs, while also inquiring about the implementation of various policies. Party secretaries and deans from various colleges also engaged with employers on-site to promote their graduates.
In 2025, NEU incorporates employment outcomes into each college's list of key tasks to further strengthen career guidance and promote the integrated development of "admissions-education-employment-layout." In recent years, with the growing demand for talent in national strategic sectors and emerging fields such as steel metallurgy, aerospace, new energy, artificial intelligence and life health, related recruitment opportunities have drawn keen attention from graduates. Students have been flocking to apply for the positions in droves. According to statistics, over 5,400 students attended this Fall Job Fair.
