On October 31,Yuan Silang, Chairman of China MCC22 Group Corporation, led a delegation on research visit to NEU Qinhuangdao Campus. Zhang Yubao, Deputy Party Secretary of NEU and Party Secretary of NEU Qinhuangdao Campus, together with Zhao Yong, President of NEU Qinhuangdao Campus, held talks with the visiting delegation in Room 5044 of the Science and Technology Building.
Zhao Yong introduced the development history and distinctive features of NEU Qinhuangdao Campus, as well as its recent achievements in talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, social services, cultural heritage and innovation, and international exchanges and cooperation. Zhao Yong stated that the Campus has consistently upheld the spirit of its motto—"Self-improvement and Unity of Knowledge and Action"—and has cultivated a number of high-caliber talents who can meet the needs of social development. He expressed his expectation that this symposium could establish a platform for exchange and cooperation, realize resource sharing and complementary strengths to jointly create a new phase of mutually beneficial development.

It is a large-scale integrated enterprise group specializing in engineering contracting, urban renewal and district development, technical equipment manufacturing, and diversified industries. The Group has established strategic partnerships with multiple leading domestic universities, laying a solid foundation for university-enterprise collaboration. The Group looked forward to explore cooperation paths with NEU Qinhuangdao Campus in areas such as industry-university-research cooperation, joint talent development, intelligent construction, and digital construction management, and work together to seek broad development prospects for the future.
Zhang Yubao pointed out that the academic program settings of NEU Qinhuangdao Campus are highly consistent with the industrial needs of China MCC22 Group Corporation, and there is broad room for collaboration. It's hoped both parties could seize this opportunity to engage in practical cooperation in areas such as talent development and industry-academia-research collaboration, thereby injecting strong momentum into the technological advancement of the industry and the high-quality economic and social development of the region.
The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on relevant cooperative matters. The delegation also visited the History Museum of the Campus, the Hebei Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Planning and Scheduling Software for Complex Industrial Processes, and the Qinhuangdao Branch Center of the National Key Laboratory of Integrated Automation for Process Industries.
